National
Policy Conference
In
March 1-2, 1995, The Nixon Center hosted a highly successful national policy
conference "After Victory: Defining an American Role in an Uncertain
World." The conference participants addressed the goals and challenges of the
United States in the post-Cold War era. Speakers at the conference included
President William J. Clinton, Senator Bob Dole, Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and Dr.
Henry Kissinger, who also served as conference chairman. (see below for transcripts).
A second
national policy conference is scheduled for 1999. Information about the conference
will be available on the Nixon Center web site in coming weeks.
